Weather will change in Jharkhand from Monday, Clouds would be there – MeT Department 

Ranchi:  The weather patterns of the entire state including Ranchi will change. There will be dark clouds in the sky. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds along with rain. The weather is expected to change in the state from February 12. There is a possibility of rain in 14 districts of the state on 13 and 14 February. A drop in temperature may be seen during this period. 

Abhishek Anand, scientist of Meteorological Center, Ranchi, said that due to the effect of western disturbance, there are chances of rain once again in the state. The maximum day temperature is expected to be between 24 to 25 degrees and the minimum is expected to be between 14 to 15 degrees. Whereas the sky will start becoming cloudy from 11th February itself.

According to the Meteorological Center, Ranchi, on February 12, light and moderate rain is expected at isolated places in the state’s West Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga, as well as in Central Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh. There is a possibility of rain.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 23.8 degrees, minimum at 9.2 degrees.

On February 13, there will be light to moderate rain in North-West Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, East Singhbhum in the South, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela Kharsawan and other places including Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla in the Central.

On February 14, there will be light to moderate rain in the state. There is a possibility of rain with thunder at some places in the North i.e. Deoghar, Dumka and Santhal Parganas, South and Central. During this period, the maximum temperature of Ranchi is likely to be between 25 to 27 degrees and the minimum between 12 to 14 degrees.
