Weather watch: Clouds will prevail in the state till Dec 6, light to moderate rain in 12 districts on December 4 & 5

Ranchi: The weather of the state is likely to take a turn from Friday and the state will remain cloudy till December 6 during which there is a possibility of light to moderate rain. Abhishek Anand, Center Head, Meteorological Center, Ranchi said that the minimum temperature may increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius during this period. He said that on December 3, there is a possibility of rain in 12 districts of the state. During this, light to moderate rain can be seen over the southern northeast and central areas of the state. On December 6, the Kolhan and Santhal areas of the state may see rain. He said that from December 7 the weather will be completely clear.

A low-pressure area is formed over the Andaman Sea. It is moving from west to northwest. There is a possibility of it becoming a cyclone. It is likely to hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh and South Orissa on Saturday. Its effect will also be seen in Jharkhand. In the last 24 hours the highest temperature was recorded in Godda at 29.3 degrees while the lowest temperature was recorded in Ramgarh at 10 degree celsius.
