Cyclone Jawad: 5 trains originating from Ranchi cancelled on 3rd and 4th December

Ranchi: In the wake of the threat possessed by Cyclone Jawad five trains originating from Ranchi Railway Division have been cancelled for two days.

This decision has been taken on behalf of Ranchi Railway Division on the instructions of South Eastern Railway (SER). It has been decided to cancel 27 trains from the entire SER zone.

According to the MET a low pressure area remains in the Andaman Sea. It is moving from west to north west. There is a possibility of it becoming a cyclone. It is likely to hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha on Saturday. In view of this, this decision has been taken by the Railways. On the other hand, it has been decided to cut the rate of platform ticket from Ranchi Railway Division. Now here, as before Covid, people will have to pay Rs 10 for the platform ticket. Notification has been issued in this regard.

These trains have been cancelled 1. Train No 13351 Dhanbad – Alleppey Express will remain canceled from Dhanbad on 3rd December. 2. Train No 12876 Anand Vihar Terminal – Puri Express will remain canceled from Anand Vihar Terminal on 3rd December. 3. Train No 18451 Hatia – Puri Express will remain canceled from Hatia on 3rd December. 4. Train No 18452 Puri – Hatia Express will remain canceled from Puri on 3rd December. 5. Train No 18637 Hatia – Bengaluru Cantt Express will remain canceled from Hatia on 4th December. Train Number 12812 Hatia- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will remain cancelled from Hatia on December 4 due to non-interlocking work on Belpahar-Himgir section of Bilaspur Railway Division whereas train 12811 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Hatia will remain canceled from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 6th December.
