Weather to change in many districts including Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti alert of rain and thunderstorm

Ranchi: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change in many districts of Jharkhand which are suffering from heat waves.

There is a possibility of rain and thunder in about half a dozen districts including the capital Ranchi, Gumla and Khunti.

Thunderstorms may also occur at some places.

Separate warnings have been issued by the Meteorological Department for both the districts.

Ranchi-based weather centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued different weather warnings some time ago.

It is said that the weather is going to change in many districts including Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega in the next one to three hours.

Light to moderate rainfall may occur.

There is also a possibility of thunderstorms at some places.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand, based in the capital Ranchi, has said that there is a possibility of rain and lightning along with thunder.

Strong winds will also blow during this period.

The wind speed is likely to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

He has said that during this time people need to be careful and alert.

A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for rain and thunderstorms.

Some guidelines have also been given in this.

The meteorologist said that people should be careful and alert during bad weather.

Stay in safe places only.

If you are outside and the weather has worsened, stay in a safe place and wait for the weather to become normal.

Farmers have been asked not to go to the fields during bad weather.

If you have gone to the fields away from home before the weather turns bad, then stay away from trees and electric poles.

If there is any concrete roof nearby, then take shelter under it, so that you remain safe during lightning.

During the monsoon season, rain usually starts in Jharkhand between 15th and 20th June.

This time monsoon is likely to arrive in two days.

A warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department, in which it has been said that there will be isolated rain in Gumla and Khunti districts.

During this time, clouds will thunder and there is a possibility of thunderstorms at some places.

There is a heat wave situation in most of the districts.

Although the sky remained cloudy at some places, people did not get respite from the heat.

Temperature in Jharkhand is between 40 degrees to 44 degrees centigrade.

The highest temperature of 44.4 degrees has been recorded in Palamu district.
