The Governor was speaking on the occasion of Martyr’s Day in Kharsawan on Monday.
He paid tribute at the martyr’s altar in Kharsawan.
He said that in the modern Jharkhand state that has been envisioned today, this holy martyr place of Kharsawan also holds an important place.
The martyrdom of those martyred in the Kharsawan firing on January 1, 1948 cannot be forgotten.
Due to the sacrifice of the lives of the martyrs, this holy martyr’s place of Kharsawan is a source of inspiration for us today.
Union Minister Arjun Munda said that this holy place of Kharsawan is known as a place of inspiration for the entire state.
On the first day of the New Year, this martyr place of Kharsawan remains a center of faith, where people come from faraway places to pay homage to the martyrs.
On this occasion, Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai, former MLA Mangal Singh Soy were also present.
