Ranchi: Senior IAS officer of Jharkhand, Vandana Dadel has been appointed as the new Home Secretary. In this regard, the Department of Personnel Administrative Reforms and Official Language has issued a notification on Tuesday. Personnel Department Jharkhand had sent the names of Vandana Dadel, Manish Ranjan and Abu Bakar Siddiqui to the Commission for the post of Home Secretary.
After which the Commission gave consent to the name of Vandana Dadel. The Election Commission on Monday had issued orders to remove the Home Secretaries of six states. The Home Secretary of Jharkhand was also included in this.
After which Jharkhand’s senior IAS officer Vandana Dadel was made the Home Secretary. The state government has taken this decision only after the consent of the Election Commission.
