Ramgarh: The Ramgarh police has initiated a unique initiative as part of community policing under which the policemen were spreading awareness in the villages against Coronavirus.
Ramgarh SP Prabhat Kumar on Wednesday said that in every village a team of policemen by following social distancing is using loudspeakers to inform the villagers regarding the steps which needed to be taken against the spread of Coronavirus and are also distributing masks and sanitizers among the people.
The SP said that during the lockdown the policemen have worked as Corona warriors and now they are fulfilling their social responsibility and are spreading awareness among the people and a target has been set to reach all the villages by the end of this month.
He said in the previous week in far-flung villages of Mandu block the awareness drive was carried out while on Wednesday the drive was conducted in Nemra and others villages of Gola block.
