Two Maoist Guerrillas killed in gun battle in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Sept 12 : Two Maoist Guerrillas were killed in gun battle with security personnel in Jharkhand’s Khuti district on Tuesday, Police said.

According to Police, gun battle took place at Rania of Khuti district. The killed Maoist belonged to banned People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI). Police seized two weapons including one carbine gun.

Police have launched search operation in the Khuti district after gun battle. Police suspect some Maoist Guerrillas are hiding in jungles situated in Rania of Khuti district.

Maoist Guerrillas are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
