Tribal delegations visit Nemra to pay tribute to Guruji, express solidarity with CM Soren

Ranchi: A joint delegation comprising members of the Central Sarna Committee, Raji Pargana Sarna Prarthana Sabha Bharat, and Adivasi Vistapit Morcha (Dhurwa) visited Nemra village in Ramgarh district to pay their respects to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren at his ancestral residence. The delegation also met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and expressed deep condolences on the passing of his father.

During the visit, Sarna followers offered prayers to Chala Maa and Dharmes Baba, seeking peace for the departed soul and strength for the Soren family in this time of grief. The representatives said that the entire tribal community stands firmly with the Soren family and shares their sorrow.

Ajay Tirkey, president of the Central Sarna Committee, said that Dishom Guru Shibu Soren’s life was dedicated to tribal identity, rights, and social upliftment. He described Soren as a symbol of public service and struggle who consistently worked to awaken social consciousness. He added that for many, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was not just a political party but a family, and prayers for Soren’s recovery were continuously offered at Sarna worship sites during his illness.

The delegation included Ajay Tirkey, Munna Oraon, Rahul Oraon, Madan Oraon, Prakash Hans, Birsa Kachhap, Ajay Kachhap, Anil Oraon, Virendra Oraon, Raji Pargana Sarna Prarthana Sabha national president Neeraj Munda, secretary Gaina Kachhap, Biglaha Oraon, Mahadev Oraon, Gandura Oraon, and women’s wing leaders Subhani Tigga, Sita Khalkho, Suchita Bara, Kamla Bara, Binita Tigga, Sunita Oraon, and Fulgensia Linda, among others.
