Tree plantation in RIMS campus before World Anesthesia Day, awareness program to be organized on Monday

Ranchi: A day before World Anesthesia Day, doctors and students of the Anesthesia Department planted trees in the RIMS campus.

On Monday, an awareness training camp will be organized in front of Old Casualty.

HOD of the department Dr. Ladhu Lakra gave this information.

Told that educational sessions and practical programs related to basic life will be organized for the people.

Information about CPR training will be given by Assistant Professor of the Anaesthesia Department, Dr. Tushar Kumar, Dr. Priyanka Srivastava and Dr. Bharti.

He said that if a person has a heart attack and is given CPR on time, the life of 7 out of 10 patients can be saved.

Secretary of ISA Ranchi, Dr. Sheo Priya said that the anesthesia department gave the message of keeping nature green by planting trees.

As every medical facility has evolved, anesthesia has also evolved from ether to better technology. Now people are safer than before.

In the anesthesia department of RIMS, patients are provided not only anesthesia but also pain relief and intensive care.

The purpose of celebrating this day is to tell people what our role is and how we can save people’s lives.
