Ranchi: The South Chotanagpur Police Duty Meet was inaugurated in Ranchi on Wednesday at the Police Line on Kanke Road. The three days police duty meet will take place between June 21 to June 23.
Police officers of Ranchi, Khunti, Simdega, Gumla, and Lohardaga of South Chhotanagpur range will participate in the duty meet. Ranchi Range DIG Anoop Birthare, Ranchi SSP Kishor Kaushal, and other senior police officials including Rural SP were present. The main objective of organizing the South Chotanagpur Police Duty Meet is to teach the policemen the tricks of crime investigation.
Presently the scope of crime has increased so much that without scientific research it is very difficult to convict anyone. At the same time, scientific research is very important to collect evidence during the investigation.
Training of policemen will be given by – Neeraj Sahay, Assistant Director, State Visitors Bureau. Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Director, FSL Ranchi.
