Cow slaughter prohibition law will be strictly followed: Rajeev Ranjan Prasad

Ranchi: The newly appointed Chairman of Jharkhand State Cow Service Commission, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, and Vice Chairman Raju Giri assumed their office with Vedic mantras in Ranchi on Wednesday. 

After assuming office, Chairman Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that this commission was neglected for the last several years and the post of its chairman was also vacant.

While the BJP government has been talking big about cow service. He said that he would start from scratch and ensure strict implementation of the Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act in the state.

Along with this, he will tour across the state to take stock of the condition of cow shelters. Wherever there is a need, we will fulfill it. At the swearing-in ceremony, Vice President Raju Giri said that cow service is a virtuous work.
