Giridih: Police has arrested three cybercriminals from Jeetkundi village under Dumri Police Station area of this district.
Among the arrested Anil Mandal and Jageshwar Mandal are real brothers while another was Ashok Mandal. Police said that upon seeing the policemen the trio had tried to flee but they were chased and nabbed.
Addressing a press conference DSP Sandeep Suman said that Anil and Jageshwar Mandal had been in this business for the last many years and were planning to set up a paver block manufacturing facility while Ashok Mandal had a mobile shop in which he used to sell high-end mobiles of various companies.
He said that from the arrested 5 mobile phones, six sim cards (used in the execution of the fraud), 23 checkbooks and passbooks, e-pos machines and Rs 1.18 lakh cash have been seized. On the other hand, police also seized 22 brand new high-end mobiles from the shop of Ashok Mandal while from the house of Anil and Jageshar Mandal couple of four-wheelers including an SUV has been also seized.
