Ranchi: Winters may bid farewell in the country from the month of February. According to the Meteorological Department, compared to the first week of February, the minimum temperature will gradually increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the second and third weeks. This means that due to an increase in warmth in the weather, the effect of cold will reduce.
Except for the western Himalayan region, the temperature will remain near normal in almost the entire country. The department has said that there will be no cold wave in any part of the country for the next two weeks. There is no possibility of fog there.
However, due to cyclonic winds in Central India, there may be light rain at some places. There may be rain at some places in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand during 12-14 February. There has been some relief from the cold due to sunshine in many districts of Jharkhand. However, Kankani is still increased cold.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain clear in the state throughout the day. However, there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning on February 10. Some districts may remain partly cloudy.
Due to this, the temperature is likely to reach 12 degrees in many districts. A similar effect will be seen on February 11 also. There will be fog early in the morning. It will be cloudy and the weather will remain dry. The minimum temperature can be recorded at 13 degrees Celsius on February 11.
On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain with partial clouds on February 12 and 13. In the last 24 hours, Jamshedpur was the hottest with 29.2 degrees. Whereas, the lowest of 7.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Garhwa. The Meteorological Department has also not issued any kind of alert. There is no possibility of any major change in temperature.
According to the Meteorological Center, there may be rain at some places in Palamu division and surrounding areas from 11 to 13 February. In Jharkhand, the morning sunshine has certainly brought relief but by evening the cold winds have increased the chill. Strong winds and increased cold weather have started affecting people’s health. Diseases like fever, cold and cough are also increasing. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand also said that the temperature may fall further.
