Ranchi: Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s press advisor Abhishek Prasad Pintu has reached the ED office. There is talk that in the land scam case, he will be interrogated along with businessman Vinod Singh. The medical team has also reached the ED office to examine both of them. There is a possibility that they may be arrested.
The houses of Abhishek Pintu and Vinod Singh were raided simultaneously. During this period, ED got hold of many important documents. At Pintu’s house, the ED team called a mechanic and got the locker broken. From where important documents are likely to be found.
On the other hand, the ED team had raided the residence of Hemant Soren’s close aide Vinod Singh and architect Roshan at Piska Mor on Ratu Road. The friendship between former CM Hemant Soren and Pintu is more than 30 years old. Abhishek Prasad Pintu’s uncle was an editor in an English newspaper. He was close to Shibu Soren.
Abhishek Prasad Pintu’s uncle was also interested in the Jharkhand movement. Therefore, he used to meet Shibu Soren in the matter of coverage. Abhishek Prasad Pintu along with his uncle often used to go to Shibu Soren’s residence and it was here that he met Hemant Soren. Both of them became friends and moved forward together. Pintu also started looking after the work of the party. He was given responsibilities like making press releases for the party, talking to the workers.
As his friendship with Hemant Soren increased, his stature in the party also increased. When Hemant Soren came to power in 2019, Abhishek Prasad Pintu was in the post of central spokesperson. Pintu played an important role in making strategy with Hemant Soren in the assembly elections.
