Theft in the famous Jagannath temple, police engaged in investigation

Ranchi: The theft incident has been carried out in the famous Jagannath temple of Jharkhand located in Dhurwa police station area. The priest’s room located in the temple premises has been targeted by unknown thieves. The priest’s room is located inside the Jagannathpur temple complex. 

Late on Monday night, Rs 20,000 in cash, several pen drives, temple decorations and the sound system went missing from the priest’s room in the temple premises. After the incident of theft in the temple, information about the matter was given to Dhurva police. Police are identifying the thieves on the basis of CCTV footage.

Unknown thieves had made a way through the window to enter the priest’s room. The thieves entered the room from inside the window by cutting the grill and then took away the items kept inside the room. The most surprising thing is that the place where the window is installed is at a very high altitude. Despite this, the thieves carried out the theft with great ease and also escaped.
