Mumbai: Actress Riddhi Kumar, who appeared as Anitha in The Raja Saab starring Prabhas, has expressed her wish to portray legendary actress Rekha in a biopic based on her life.
Speaking on the occasion of her birthday, Riddhi said this year she aims to prioritise happiness and self-awareness, choosing to be fully present and content. She described happiness as a conscious choice and said she wants to place herself at the centre of her own universe, believing that recognising one’s inner strength makes life more fulfilling and exciting.
Opening up about her dream project, Riddhi shared that playing Rekha has long been an aspiration. She said she feels a strong emotional connection with the veteran actress, adding that many people have pointed out similarities in their energy, personality, and even features. For her, the bond goes beyond appearance and lies in what she described as Rekha’s drive and emotional depth. She expressed hope that the opportunity to play the iconic actress will one day materialise.
The actress also shared a heartfelt message for her fans, thanking them for the love and support she continues to receive, especially through messages and social media interactions.
Riddhi Kumar made her acting debut with the Telugu romantic film Lover and has since featured in a range of projects across languages, including Superboys of Malegaon, Radhe Shyam, Salaam Venky, Candy, Crash Course, and Human, among others.
