The decision to be pronounced on Hemant Soren’s petition to attend the budget session in the court

Ranchi:  The special court of PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) on Wednesday reserved its decision regarding the participation of former Chief Minister and Barhat MLA Hemant Soren in the budget session. The court will give its verdict tomorrow Thursday

The Advocate General argued in the court citing MLAs Dhullu Mahato and Nalin Soren. When the financial bill is presented in the budget session, Hemant Soren’s presence was considered mandatory. Now Hemant Soren will be able to attend the budget session only after getting permission from the court.

The budget session of Jharkhand Assembly is to start from 23 February. An application was filed in the PMLA court regarding Hemant Soren’s participation in the budget session. The court has been requested to allow Hemant Soren’s presence in the Assembly in the budget session starting on 23 February. Special public prosecutor Shiv Kumar alias Kaka ji argued on behalf of ED.
