Temperature to drop in Jharkhand in next 48 hours

Ranchi: The abrupt rise in minimum temperature due to an adverse wind pattern would be short-lived. IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre forecasts a drop in minimum reading during the next 48- hours. 

Weathermen said at surface level light north-easterly to northerly wind over northern parts of the state was prevailing while light south-westerly to westerly wind prevailed over the rest parts of the state.

The lowest minimum temperature at 11.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Simdega while Khunti recorded around 11.6 degrees.

Ramgarh and Daltonganj recorded around 13 degree Celsius while Bokaro and its adjoining areas recorded around 14 degree Celsius.

Moreover, Jamshedpur and adjoining Saraikela- recorded around 15 degree Celsius. Partly cloudy skies prevailed in several parts of southern Jharkhand early this morning. Later the sky became clear.
