Ranchi: A joint team of the Ranchi Police and Excise Department has recovered a huge quantity of illegal liquor from a house in the capital.
Following a tip-off received by Ranchi SSP Kishore Kaushal a joint team conducted raids in the Nagdi Police Station area and recovered 180 boxes of liquor from the house.
However, somehow the people involved in illegal trade managed to flee from the spot and evade police arrest.
Across the state, the police and excise department has launched a crackdown against the illegal liquor trade and are catching people involved in this business.
