Ranchi, May 8: The impact of the upper air circulation which was hovering over Ranchi has reduced leading to a rapid rise in the temperature in the state capital and also in the Palamu division of the state.
Local met office said that the winds coming from western direction was directly impacting these districts and on Tuesday the temperature had crossed 40 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature was 40.5 degree celsisu while the minimum was 26.4 degree Celsius. The weather department has predicated that in some district cloud cover would reaminĀ and slighjt drizzle might occur however that will not be sufficient to bring a respite to the people.
Due to the hot and sultry weather conditions the roads in the state capital are wearing a deserted look as people are opting to remain inside their homes.
