Successful of Chandrayaan-3 dedicated to young and talented minds – Governor Radhakrishnan

Ranchi: Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan participated in the “International Conference on Advances in Novel Materials: Towards Sustainable Future (ICAN-2024)” organized at St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. He said, it is necessary to focus towards discovery and this seminar will prove useful in this direction. He said that the quantity of natural resources is limited but it is being continuously exploited for development. We will have to work towards the use of alternative materials. Scholars and experienced people participating in this seminar will share their views in this direction.

The Governor said that St. Xavier’s College has a glorious history. The students here have contributed in various fields of society. It is a matter of great pride that the Physics Branch of St. Xavier’s College was established in 1944 AD. Through this seminar, other students including the Physics branch will also get information about the new changes taking place in the field of science. This will inspire them to do new experiments, new discoveries and develop new technology. Prime Minister is committed to promoting science and continues to encourage it.

When Chandrayaan-2 was not completely successful, he encouraged the scientists and then Chandrayaan-3 had a successful landing. Today, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy from the 5th largest economy in the world. He has given the slogan of ‘Developed India@2047’. The Governor called upon everyone to enthusiastically contribute in building a developed India.
