Ranchi: Former MP Ramtal Chaudhary, who joined Congress from BJP a month ago, has resigned from the Congress party. In a press conference held at the Press Club on Saturday, former MP Ramtal Chaudhary said that a top Congress leader had included me in the party on the assurance of giving him a ticket in the Lok Sabha elections. I wanted to contest elections from Ranchi Lok Sabha seat.
The Congress party delayed the issue of giving the ticket for 15 days and at the last moment gave the ticket to someone else. This has hurt my dignity. I did not join the party to lift the bag and flag. Congress’s victory this time was 100 percent certain. But Congress has lost the game it had won.
He said that this time the people of Ranchi were going to vote for me in the Ranchi Lok Sabha elections. Everyone’s face was Ram Tahal Chaudhary. This time I was going to get the support of all classes by rising above the caste system. On the question of contesting the elections as an independent, he said that I will contest the elections not as an independent but from any party.
For this, I will take a further decision by holding a meeting with my workers and supporters. Choudhary said that many political parties have contacted me. He said that Ramtahal Choudhary has progressed through struggle and has not progressed due to anyone’s kindness. BJP has expanded in Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.
