Cold increased after clouds cleared in Jharkhand, Yellow alert of fog on 21-22 January

Ranchi: After light and moderate rain in Jharkhand, now the clouds have started disappearing from the sky. A drop in temperature has been recorded after the clouds have cleared. This is the reason why cold has increased in many districts of the state including the capital Ranchi. Now the weather is likely to remain dry in Jharkhand. However, a yellow alert has been issued regarding fog and mist on 22 and 23 January.

The entire Jharkhand including Ranchi is in the grip of fog for three days. Nine flights were canceled due to fog on Friday. One plane was diverted there. There is no possibility of rain in Jharkhand now. The sky will clear after the rain. The temperature is likely to drop by 3 to 4 degrees. If the temperature drops, the weather will become cooler. The maximum temperature in the state is likely to be 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 09 degrees Celsius.

Due to the changing weather and increasing cold in the state, the school timings of the children have been changed. The health of children was being affected due to the changing weather. The highest rainfall of 20 mm has been recorded in Jagannathpur (West Singhbhum).

The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 20.2 degrees Celsius in Ranchi and the minimum temperature was 10.9 degrees Celsius in Daltonganj. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in Jharkhand in the next 5 days. There may be fog or mist in the morning. There is a possibility of partly cloudy skies in many parts. The weather will be dry.

The weather conditions may remain like this till January 26. The weather remained dry in Jharkhand in the last 24 hours. Whereas moderate to dense fog was also seen at some places. The highest maximum temperature of 22.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Daltenganj while the lowest minimum temperature of 5.9 degrees Celsius was also recorded in Daltenganj.

There was dense fog in the entire Jharkhand including Ranchi on Friday morning. Although it was sunny during the day. Nine flights were canceled on Friday due to fog, while one plane was diverted. Many trains also arrived late.

Abhishek Anand, scientist of Indian Meteorological Center, Ranchi, said that there will be fog in the morning on 20th and 21st January also. Yellow alerts have been issued on 22nd and 23rd January. 

On Friday, the minimum temperature in Ranchi dropped by two degrees and reached 12 degrees. The minimum temperature of Ranchi is likely to drop by three to four degrees in the next three days.
