Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday held a hearing on the petition demanding a CBI probe into the alleged paper leak in the JSSC-CGL examination. During the proceedings, the state government informed the court that charge sheets have been filed against three accused so far, and the CID investigation is expected to conclude soon.
The government stated that no concrete evidence of a paper leak has been found as of now. Following this, the Chief Justice’s bench directed the state to submit an updated investigation report before the court.
However, the court refused to lift the stay on the publication of the JSSC-CGL results. The matter has now been scheduled for the next hearing on June 18.
Arguments in the case were presented by the Advocate General on behalf of the state government, advocate Sanjoy Piparwal for JSSC, and senior advocate Ajit Kumar representing the petitioners.
