Ranchi: The High Court has disposed of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking early completion of a CBI investigation into alleged irregularities in the 1st, 2nd, and other editions of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examinations.

During the hearing held on Wednesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) informed the court that it has completed its investigation and submitted the charge sheet in the case. The petitioner also confirmed that the main demands made in the PIL had been fulfilled. After hearing both sides, the court disposed of the matter.

The PIL had been filed by Budhadev Oraon, who had alleged serious irregularities in the 1st and 2nd JPSC exams. According to the petitioner, several ineligible candidates were passed with the alleged involvement of JPSC officials and are currently serving in government positions.
