State government got 3 weeks’ time to file reply in the land case of entry at Jasidih railway station

Ranchi:  The hearing of the PIL of MP Nishikant Dubey, requesting to give land for entry point number two in the southern area of Jasidih railway station of Deoghar district, was held in the Jharkhand High Court on Friday.

In this case, if the reply was not filed by the state government in the court, a demand was made to give additional time, on which the court granted three weeks’ time. 

During the last hearing, the court was told on behalf of the applicant that the state government had earlier accepted to give land for the southern entry point number two of Jasidih station.

Now the government is demanding Rs 57 crore for this land. The applicant said that the construction of entry point number two in the southern area of Jasidih railway station will provide a lot of convenience to the devotees coming to visit Baba Baijnath Dham in Deoghar. Advocate Shivani Jaluka appeared on behalf of the applicant.

The next hearing in the case will be on December 18. The hearing of this case took place in the division bench headed by High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra.
