Ranchi: The dead body of a young man has been found hanging from a tree near Kadru Bridge located in Argora police station area of the district. The dead body has been identified as that of army soldier Manoj Singh. Manoj Singh was originally from Uttarakhand. But his posting was in Sonari, Jamshedpur. But he had come to Deepatoli Army Camp located at Booti Mod two days ago.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Manoj Singh has been murdered or he has committed suicide. Police are investigating it. Manoj Singh had booked the railway ticket. His train was from Ranchi Railway Station at 12 o’clock on Thursday night. But he left Deeptoli camp at six in the evening. After which nothing could be found about him. His body was recovered on Friday afternoon.
In this regard, City SP Rajkumar Mehta said that the body of the army soldier has been recovered. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. Only after the post-mortem report will it be known whether he was murdered or committed suicide. Further action is underway in this matter.
