Sports meet started at Home Guard Ground, Governor inaugurated

Ranchi: The three-day Jharkhand State Home Defence Corps and Fire Service Sports Competition was inaugurated on Thursday at the Home Guard Ground in Dhurwa.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan was present as the chief guest in the program organized under the aegis of Home Defence Corps and Fire Department. DG Anil Palta, ADG Priya Dubey, DIG YS Ramesh and other senior officers were present on this occasion. The program started with the parade salute. 

Commandant Amit Kumar Singh said that 450 participants are participating in this competition. 10 sports have been organized under the competition. Which includes athletics, football, and volleyball. 

The competition will end on 24th February, Sports Minister Hafizul Hasan will be present as the chief guest.
