Ranchi: Special provisions have been made in the budget for rail development works in Ranchi Railway Division. In the budget for the year 2022-23, provisions has been made for the ongoing development works and other works in Ranchi Railway Division.
The focus of this year is to prepare Indian Railways for every situation of the future, promoting local business with the vision of ‘One Station One Product’, increasing safety and efficiency under self-reliant India, developing new products for farmers, to facilitate ‘multimodal connectivity’ between public urban transport and railway stations, improve infrastructural facilities and lay the foundation for the growth of the country and railways in the next 25 years.
A sum of Rs 400 crore has been allocated for Rail doubling work of 158.50 km between Bandamunda-Ranchi for construction of Lodhma – Piska Link Line 17 Kms a sum of Rs 121 crores has been sanctioned. Moreover, for Muri – Barkakana 58 km rail doubling work Rs 5 crore has been given. For track renewal and maintenance in Ranchi Division Rs 92 crore has been approved.
Further Construction of Road Over Bridge at Power House Chutia Gate (in place of Level Crossing Gate No MH 29), Construction of Road Over Bridge at Gola Road (in place of Level Crossing Gate No MB 21) and other works have been approved.
