CM approves proposal to stop illegal smuggling of Micra scrap

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his approval to a proposal to stop illegal smuggling of mica mineral contained in Dhibra dumps. It will now be put up for approval in the cabinet meeting. This proposal has been prepared as there is no clear provision in the Bihar Mica Act/Rules for the execution of Dhibra (Mica Scrap) in the state.

There are three conditions which are to be complied with as per the proposal first Dhibra (mica scrap) will be surveyed. It will mention its location, volume and quantity. This will prevent illegal smuggling of Dhibra. Second Chemical analysis report of Dhibra (Mica Scrap) should also be obtained, so that it can be clear that how is its quality. Thirdly the Dhibra (Mica Scrap) which is located in the forest area, before its execution, forest clearance and other desired documents should be obtained from the competent authority.
