Sonam Wangchuk says he is against those creating hurdles in development process

Ranchi: Prominent innovator and environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk said anti-nationals are those who do not allow the government’s funds to reach the last person in society and thus slow down the development process of the country.

Addressing a session on the first day of a two-day conference on “Re-Engineering CSR” at Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) headquarters here Wangchuk who is a mechanical engineer by profession, said one should do PSR before CSR. 

He explained PSR as personal social responsibility. He defined CSR as a work of ensuring a better tomorrow and asked the audience to spend CSR funds on those works which can make the country’s future bright instead of giving a short-term gain.

Suggesting where to use the CSR fund he gave first priority to education and the environment. Explaining why to use the CSR fund for the environment, he said that the planet will not work without education. 

He said that he has no problem with the people working against India but from those who are inside the country and creating hurdles in the process of development.

A slew of eminent speakers from throughout the country have turned up in the event for talking and deliberating on the subject. It is serving as a gathering place for corporations and development sector organizations to share information and hear success stories.
