Some vested powers working in Jharkhand to take away rights of Adivasis & Moolvasis: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that there are some vested forces working in Jharkhand who want to take away the rights of the Adivasis and Moolvasis.

Talking to the press outside the Raj Bhawan after he led an all-party delegation minus the BJP to the Raj Bhawan over the domicile policy and OBC reservation he said that as part of a conspiracy the rights of the Adivasis Moolvasis Minorities and Backward but the government will not allow such vested interests to become successful in their motives.

He said that the state government is working to make alternative arrangements for the appointments and soon its positive response would be visible. He said that apart from the BJP all other parties are present in the delegation including those from JMM Congress RJD CPM AJSU and other left parties.

Hemant Soren said that it is not the first time that the recruitment policy has been cancelled as on previous occasions also the policies have been cancelled by the High Court. He said that it is really unfortunate that the youth of the state are failing to get third and fourth-grade jobs. Moreover, the policy which had been framed by the state government in the interest of the locals has been rejected by the court.

The Chief Minister suspected that such a thing could have happened therefore keeping the previous examples in account the government was moving forward. He said that out of the 20 people who had filed their complaint before the High Court 19 of them are outsiders.

He said that it is really unfortunate that people of other states do not like the recruitment policy of Jharkhand. He said that seven lakh youth had applied for jobs in various posts under the new recruitment policy who are now sad as the High court has scrapped.

The Chief Minister said that in the month of November based on the Khatiyaan of 1932 and OBC reservation bill was passed by the assembly which was sent to the Raj Bhawan for approval. Moreover, in these there is a provision that they should be included in the ninth schedule of the constitution so that whatever conspiracies are being hatched against the locals can be done away with.

He said that the delegation has requested the Governor that soon these bills should be passed and sent to the Centre so that the same can be included in the 9th schedule of the constitution.
