Ranchi: Senior Sports Journalist and Mentor of Former Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Chanchal Bhattacharya appointed as Cricket Coach of Ranchi University. Vice Chancellor of Ranchi University Ajit Kumar Sinha handed over an Appointment letter to him. On this occasion Dr. Sudesh Kumar Sahu and Dr. KN Sahdeo were present.
Six months ago interview was taken by Ranchi University for the post of Coach. In which Chanchal Bhattacharya got the highest marks. On July 1 Chanchal Bhattacharya will take charge. On the appointment of Chanchal Bhattacharya, Sports Journalist Association expressed their happiness.
Last three decades Chanchal Bhattacharya has been associated with the sports world. Bhattacharya holds a degree from NIS in Cricket. Last two decades he has been contributing to the players of the Ranchi District Cricket Association. Several times he was appointed as Manager and Coach of different teams.
