Ranchi: Secretary, Rural Development Department, Chandrashekhar held a review meeting with the senior in-charge of the ratification team of all the districts, MNREGA Commissioner was also present.
The Secretary reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana with the senior in-charge of the ratification team on the achievements of all the districts in the ‘Chalo Kare Awas Pura’ campaign which ran from 15 September to 10 October 2023.
The progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Housing Schemes and gave necessary instructions.
The Secretary said that special care should be taken that maximum employment should be created so that the pending housing scheme is implemented on a large scale.
He said that geo-mapping of the schemes should also be done.
The Secretary said that under the campaign phase two, site inspection of the schemes will be done.
Secretary, Rural Development Department, Chandrashekhar directed to complete the ongoing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state as soon as possible.
He said that the government is equally sensitive about the schemes to provide houses to the homeless and hence you should try to ensure that the needy get the benefit of housing in time.
Create maximum man days so that the incomplete houses can be completed as soon as possible.
Joint Secretary of the Rural Development Department, Shail Prabha Kujur, Avadh Prasad, Arun Singh, Jitendra Kumar Dev, Deputy Secretary of the department, Pramod Kumar, all the Under Secretaries of the department and other officials were present in the meeting.
