RIMS Governing Council’s 64th Meeting: Approval for Construction of New IPD Building

Ranchi – The 64th Governing Council meeting of RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences), Ranchi, was held to deliberate on several key issues. The primary agenda of the meeting focused on the proposal to construct a new IPD building at RIMS. Under this proposal, discussions were held on building a 500-bed IPD facility within the DIG Ground campus.

Health Minister Irfan Ansari stated that the construction of the new IPD building would significantly increase the bed capacity at RIMS. This expansion would help reduce patient waiting times and ensure better and timely medical care. He added that the growing patient load would be managed more effectively, further strengthening healthcare services at RIMS.

Several other important agenda items were also approved during the meeting. Their implementation will take place after the completion of the municipal body elections.
