Review meeting of Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana held under the chairmanship of Union Joint Secretary

Ranchi: Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana was reviewed under the chairmanship of Naveen Kumar Shah, Joint Secretary (MP Adarsh Gram Yojana SAGY), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in the Rural Development Department Auditorium. 

On the occasion, he asked the officers to motivate all the farmers of Adarsh village for organic farming and inform them about the modern methods of agriculture. This will provide new employment opportunities to the farmers. He directed to prepare Village Annual Action Plan for the selected villages.

Discussing the implementation of ongoing schemes in the state, he directed that a roadmap for the action plans should be prepared. He said that from March 09 to March 11, the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India would visit various districts of the state including Ranchi, Khunti and Lohardaga to inspect rural development schemes.

He said that the team will also hold a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners, Deputy Development Commissioner of the concerned districts. Along with this, the ongoing schemes in the Gram Panchayat will also be inspected. The Joint Secretary inquired about all other rural development schemes including Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana in Jharkhand and informed about the targeted standards of the Central Government. 

MNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B said that people have to take a pledge to make an ideal district. For this, suggestion boxes should be installed in all block offices.
