Hemant Soren attends swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Chief Minister of Meghalaya

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached Meghalaya on the special invitation of Conrad Sangma to attend his swearing-in ceremony. Conrad Sangma took oath as the newly elected Chief Minister of Meghalaya on Tuesday.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to him. On the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren met the family members of Meghalaya Governor Fagu Chauhan and Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and congratulated them.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted that the late PA Sangma and Rajya Sabha MP Dishome Guru was very sweet and family-friendly with Shibu Soren. 

The same family friendship is still there in both families. It is to be known that the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma comes from the tribal community and is the son of former Lok Sabha Speaker Late PA Sangma.
