Ratu Road traffic route to remain diverted from tomorrow

Ranchi: The traffic route of Ratu Road will change from Thursday. If the movement of vehicles remains smooth, this system will be extended further. Four types of changes have been made in the traffic routes by the traffic police.

Traffic SP Kumar Gaurav said that the traffic police has started preparations. The date for when this system will be implemented will be announced. There will be a complete ban on the movement of all vehicles going from Kishori Yadav Chowk towards Zakir Hussain Park.

In such a situation, all the autos and e-rickshaws coming from Piska Mor will be able to reach Zakir Hussain Park via Durga Mandir Chowk via Hotlips Chowk from ATI Mor via Randhir Verma Chowk. Other vehicles will take left from New Market Chowk and go towards Hotlips Chowk from Raj Bhawan turn.

All autos and e-rickshaws coming from Kanke Road towards Ratu Road will be able to reach Ram Mandir Chowk via Sido-Kanhu Park from ATI turn, Randhir Verma Chowk and then Zakir Hussain Park. Vehicles coming from Radium Chowk will be able to move from Zakir Hussain Park towards Ratu Road and Harmu Road via Kishori Yadav Chowk. The flyover is being constructed from Piska Mor to Zakir Hussain Park. Pillars and girder have been installed till New Market Chowk of Ratu Road.

Now construction work is to be done from Kishori Yadav Chowk to Zakir Hussain Park. Five pillars are to be built from Kishori Yadav Chowk to Zakir Hussain Park. To avoid any problem regarding the construction of this pillar, the traffic route has been changed on a trial basis till Friday.
