Ranchi: Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra preparation schedule on June 20 is in full swing. The laborers are giving the final touch to the chariot on which Lord Jagannath, Balbhadra and Subhadra will be pulled to mausi Badi house.
Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan along with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled to pull the Rath of Lord Balbhadra, Subdhra and Jagannath during the upcoming annual Rath Yatra in Ranchi on June 20.
Rath Mela Committee Member Thakur Sudhanshu Nath Sahadeo said in this annual festival the temple committee will distribute bhog and free drinking water to the devotees. Police, Security Personnel and volunteers will be deployed to avoid any antisocial activities.
We have talked with Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) Officials for a cleanliness drive from Temple to Mousibadi during Rath Yatra. This time, there will free medical shivir to look after the millions of Hindu devotees.
The organising committee is taking a minimum charge of Rs 100 per stall per day. Workers and Volunteers are continuously working day and night to decorate the temple. Painting and lighting are being put for decoration purposes near the temple premises.
We have brought clothes of lord Balbhadra, Subdhra and Jagannath from Puri. We change the wood of Rath every 12 years. 9 Hindu Priests will offer Puja. Raja Sahdeo Family is the Pratham Sevak as per ancient old Hindu traditions and customs. This time we are organising QR Code for donations for the temple.
Similarly, all the donations will be spent on Daily Bhog, Woods for cooking and the workers who will organise food packets. Sudhanshu Sahadeo added at the request of the Temple Committee Chief Minister himself gave instructions
to Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Singh who organised a tender of Rupees 75 Lakh for Rath Mela.
For the first time, we are also organising a rest house. Volunteers and organisation who will contribute during Rath Yatra are Aadivasi Sarna Samiti, Aadivasi Sarna Vikash Samiti, Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Yogada Satsang, Bharat SevaShram Sangha, Marwari Seva Sangh and Ramakrishna Mission Ashram.
Hatia DSP Raja Mitra will be in charge to look out the security arrangements keeping in view any mischievous and Anti-social activity during the Rath Yatra.
