Ranchi, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave instructions to police officials regarding curbing Naxal activities, illegal mining and smuggling of drugs. He asked the police officials that maintaining law and order is a top priority of the state govt and police officials should maintain relations with the people of the state. He assured that the state would make sure of availability of all resources to maintain law and order situation.
“You are important part of the govt and running the state in better is your responsibility. Your vision, working style, information system, creativity can make better law and order situation in the state” said Hemant Soren in a meeting with the senior police officials at project building in Ranchi on Thursday.
He said “ police personnel are confronted with new challenges and you should be ready for future challenges also. Jharkhand was once most Maoists affected state of the country. Now the situation has changed. Maoists have been uprooted from the state and this result of good policing. Jharkhand p[olice has made it’s recognition in uprooting the Maoists in the state” .
He instructed the police officials to prepare the database of the criminals. He also instructed for establishing better coordination between DC and SP of the districts. He also stressed the need for coordination among police headquarters with DC and SPs of the districts. He assured to look into the suggestions given during the meeting.
“develop good relation with people and it will help in improving law and order situation. If anyone takes law in his hand, then they should be dealt strictly” said the Soren,. He stressed the need for detail analysis of the criminals caselike theft, dacoity, snatching, cyber crimes and other forms of the crime. He also instructed to expedite the pending cases investigation and chargesheet. He also suggested to organise programs in coordination ofm public represetaitioves like MPs, MLAs, Mukhiys and others.
He instructed to improve night patrolling, strengthening the social policing, executing pending warrants, no case should be pending for more than 4 to 5 years, special strantgey should be made formorganised crimes, v regular inspection of jails , action on illicit liquors should be taken. In the meeting Chief secretary Sukhdeo Singh, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh and others were present.
