Ranchi: For the second occasion a rapid antigen mass drive was conducted on Tuesday by the district administration.
Across 20 centres spread across urban and rural pockets of the district, the tested were done from 10 am to 6 pm. People from all sections of the society including young and old had gathered to conduct the tests.
Most of the people said that for safety reasons they had come to give the tests. They said that since Coronavirus was spreading rapidly, therefore, they had decided to come for tests. However, compared to the previous campaign which was held on August 18 the enthusiasm of the people was less.
The district administration had deployed 30 teams across 20 centres. Two teams were deployed in CMPDI Kanke, Ormanjhi Namkum and Nagdi. Apart from the medical team’s policemen and magistrates were also deployed at the centres to make sure that there was no law and order problem.
