Ranchi: IPRD Director Rajeev Lochan Bakshi said ensuring the reach of welfare schemes to the people standing on the last row of the society is the main goal of public relations.
Addressing the inaugural session of the training programme of the newly appointed officials he said that PRD acts as a bridge between the people and the government and works in a two-way process.
To ensure the participation of the common people in the democratic process the different mediums of communication are used to take the works of the government to the people and words of the people to the government. He said that the training programme of newly appointed officials of information service would be held in districts also.
Deputy Directors Shalini Verma, Vijay Kumar, Anand and others were also present on the occasion.
