Ranchi’s mercury falls by 2 degrees celsius below normal: Weather to remain dry for next three days

Ranchi: There will be pleasant weather during the auspicious festival of Chhath Mahaparv as the sun will remain out on both the days of performing Arghya. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be normal in Ranchi during the evening Arghya on November 10.

However, before Chhath, there has been a sudden increase in the winter of Ranchi. The minimum temperature of Ranchi has dropped by 2 degrees celsius in the last 48 hours. After this, it has now come down to 2 degrees Celsius below normal. The minimum temperature of Ranchi till Sunday was hovering around 14 degree celsius on average. It has come down to 12.6 degree celsius on Tuesday. The weather will remain dry for the next three days and not much change is expected. There will be sunshine on the day of Chhath Arghya. According to the Weather Department, the weather will be normal in Ranchi during the evening Arghya on November 10. The sky is not likely to be cloudy. At the same time, during the morning Arghya, the devotees may have to wait for a while due to light fog.

However, the weather will remain normal on both days. However, after this, there is a possibility of light rain on Saturday and Sunday. Due to this, there is a possibility of a sudden increase in the cold. The weather was generally dry in the state during the last 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 30.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and Pakur in the state. While the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at Chaibasa at 12.2 degrees celsius.
