Ranchi: After the ED raid, Ranchi SSP Chandan Sinha removed Tupudana OP in-charge Meera Singh.
ED team raided the residence of Meira Singh and Congress leader Mohit Shahdev on Thursday.
According to sources, during the raid, ED had retrieved approximately 100 GB data from eight mobile phones.
During investigation of mobile WhatsApp chat, it was found that Meera Singh had chatted with Congress leader Mohit Shahdev and many other people regarding sand smuggling.
Numbers of trucks have also been found from mobile phones, in which it has been written in the message that they should be given passing i.e. passing without being caught by the police.
According to sources, in the chats of Meera Singh, chats with a person who was close to the top power in the former CM Hemant Soren government were also found.
There is also mention of posting of an IPS in the chat, later that IPS was also posted in the concerned district.
