Ranchi Municipal Corporation’s enforcement team, campaign to remove encroachment conducted in the main road

Ranchi:  The Municipal Corporation’s enforcement team conducted an encroachment-free campaign in the city. In this series, the enforcement team got the shops installed on the footpath at Albert Ekka Chowk of the city removed. The carts and stalls were confiscated. The enforcement team under the leadership of Traffic DSP Jitvahan Oraon is busy in making the city encroachment-free.

According to the information, the encroachment-free campaign will be conducted throughout the day in the city by the Municipal Corporation team. Traffic DSP Jitvahan Oraon said that the encroachment is being removed in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation. People are requested not to disrupt the traffic. The action is ongoing and will continue.

Traffic police personnel and the Municipal Corporation team are working together to remove encroachments. Action will be taken against those who disrupt traffic. He said that all those who park their vehicles on the road and sell street vendors are being monitored.

In view of Diwali, a large number of shops are set up on the streets around Albert Ekka Chowk, Sarjana Chowk, Daily Market and Urdu Library of the city. Due to this, vehicular traffic and pedestrians face problems on the main road.

There was resentment among the footpath shopkeepers regarding the campaign of the enforcement team. Shopkeepers said that they set up shop in the hope of saving some money during festivals and feeding their families. But due to this action of the corporation, the hopes of all of us were dashed.
