Ranchi DC kicks off cycle rally under drug-free India campaign

Ranchi: Ranchi DC Rahul Kumar Sinha flagged off a cycle rally under the Drug Free India campaign from the Collectorate in Ranchi on Saturday.

A rally organized by the District Social Welfare Department was taken out to create awareness about the Drug Free India Campaign.

On this occasion, District Social Welfare Officer Sweta Bharti, District Public Relations Officer Dr. Prabhat Shankar, District Child Welfare Officer Ved Prakash Tiwari, Assistant Director Social Security Ravi Shankar Mishra and all concerned officials were present.

While flagging off the cycle rally, DC said that de-addiction awareness is being run in the entire district. Drug abuse is causing great harm to society.

Small children and students are becoming addicted to drugs, this is having a bad effect on their health.

Its adverse effect is that their financial condition worsens.

Fights and conflicts increase in the house.

The Deputy Commissioner specifically said that our children are the future of our country.

It is important to keep them free from drugs. So that they can do their studies properly.

Addiction causes great harm to the family and society.

Due to which the country also faces a lot of loss.

For this, awareness campaigns should be run in schools, colleges and educational institutions.

All intoxicants should be told about their harms and health.

Strict action should be taken against drug dealers.

DC said that drug addiction causes a lot of harm to society and the country.

To save the country from this, there is a need to take strict action against drug dealers.
