11th JPSC date announced, PT to be held on 17th March

Ranchi:  Jharkhand Public Service Commission has released the advertisement for Civil Service Examination 2023-24.

The notification is available on the website of the Commission.

The appointment examination will be conducted for a total of 342 posts.

The process of filling online applications is starting from 1st February.

It will continue till 5 pm on 29th February.

The examination fee can be paid till 1st March.

The probable date of preliminary examination has been kept as 17th March.

This time, the Civil Services Examination has the highest number of seats among all the examinations conducted so far.

10 Civil Services examinations were taken in 24 years, with the highest being in the 2023 advertisement.

There were 64 vacancies in the first civil service, 172 in the second, 242 in the third, 219 in the fourth, 277 in the fifth civil service, 326 in the sixth civil service and 252 in the seventh-10th civil service examination.

In the issued notification, it has been said that as per the resolution issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language, the maximum age of the candidates will be counted from August 1, 2017.

Whereas the minimum age will be calculated on the basis of August 1, 2024.

It has been said in the notification that the provision of age relaxation will be valid only for the 2023 examination.
