Weather pattern to change in Jharkhand, relief from heat, hailstorm to occur – MeT Department

Ranchi: The weather patterns are about to change in Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms along with thunderstorms on May 6 and 7. There is a possibility of a hailstorm on May 7. There is a possibility of hailstorm at some places in Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamtara, Dumka and Deoghar districts.

According to the department, the temperature may gradually drop by 4 to 6 degrees in the next two to three days. On May 6, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder at isolated places in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state. It is likely to affect Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rain with thunder at many places on May 7 to 9. The wind speed is likely to be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. There will be rain at some places in the state on May 10 also.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder at isolated places in the state on May 11. On May 6, there is a possibility of thunder and strong wind gusts at isolated places in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state. 

The wind speed is likely to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Its effect can be seen in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega districts.

In the capital Ranchi, on May 5 and 6, the maximum temperature will be 39 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 23 degrees. Whereas from May 7 to May, the maximum temperature is likely to be 36 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 23 degrees. 

It is expected to be 34 and 23 degrees on 8th and 9th May. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and cloudy sky on 7, 8 and 9 May.
