Ranchi: Ranchi DC cum District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha flagged off the mobile van from Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Moharabadi. This van will work to create awareness among voters. This will also make you aware of the entire process of voting.
The mobile mobile van will go to every polling station and demonstrate the EVM and VVPAT there. Dummy wallet paper will be used in the EVMs used for demonstration. Voters can also cast dummy votes in this EVM.
In view of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024, work will be done to create awareness among voters from 10 January to 19 February 2024. Police force, magistrate and personnel have been deputed with this awareness chariot.
Besides, BLO, Supervisor, Sector Officer and Sector Police Officer will be present in the polling center along with the van during the EVM demonstration. While flagging off the mobile demonstration van, Deputy Election Officer Vivek Suman, Deputy Collector (Trainee) Tribhuvan Kumar, representatives of all political parties (recognized) and concerned officials were present.
DC Rahul Kumar Sinha said that young voters should be specially made aware so that they can participate in the elections. So that they become responsible citizens by voting in this great festival of democracy.
DC said that the main objective of the program is to familiarize young first-time voters with the voting process.DC has appealed to all voters (especially young voters) to take advantage of the mobile demonstration van.
